FEED THE FUTURE AND THE PLANET MOVEMENT

Feed the Future is a social movement that aims to improve and nurture the planet and human health without leaving anyone behind, to leave a more livable world to future generations in line with the common goals of the United Nations SKA 2030.

The shrinkage of land available for agriculture, the increase in greenhouse gas emissions, the decrease in biodiversity, and the exposure of water resources to nitrate pollution, the excessive application of pesticides to the soil cause the ecosystem to lose its balance. In a sense, it's making the planet sick. People can't be healthy when the soil, water, air, that is, the planet is sick. Nurturing the planet serves the same purpose as healing and nurturing individuals and future generations. As a result, hunger in the world, individuals exposed to food insecurity, and disadvantaged groups who cannot reach nutritious and sufficient food are directly affected.

For example, in the Waste Report prepared by the Turkish Ministry of Commerce, it is stated that 5.4% of the consumers throw away the leftover food, and 23% of the purchased food is thrown away without being consumed. According to the same study, the rate of those who go shopping by making a list is 31%. 35% of consumers cook more than they consume. It is aimed to reduce this below 30%. Consumers do not buy vegetables and fruits because their appearance is bad. On the other hand, the world population consumes 1 million plastic water bottles per minute. You can't be a spectator to all this!
